Our Goal

Our goal at Stars Edge is to be the leading provider of the new generation of Very Low Earth Orbit satellites. We aim on making space cheap and approachable to all, giving you the decision making capability through our better data.

Our Expertise

Our team of aerospace engineers, atmospheric scientists and systems architects is supported by senior business development professionals with decades of experience in the space sector. Backed by a panel of world-leading advisers in space finance, regulation and market strategy, we excel in air-augmented orbital flight at 100–150 km, from pressure-tolerant structures to AI-driven payload integration, all with cost-efficiency and reliability in mind.

Our Approach

We embrace a systems-level, data-driven process that fuses rapid iteration with rigorous testing. By designing satellites around the supporting role of Earth’s upper atmosphere, we minimize drag penalties while maximizing lift-based efficiency. This “sweet-spot” philosophy guides every decision, from selecting sustainable, off-the-shelf components to deploying modular software architectures, so we can scale quickly, reduce capital outlay, and deliver high-capability constellations that adapt to mission needs in real time.

Propulsion Technologies

AERIS (The Star of the Show)

The Atmosphere-enabled Engine for Refuellable In-Orbit Systems

  •  Compact and energy-efficient.
  • High thrust-to-power compared to competing technology.
  • Thrives in high-density atmosphere environments.
  • Transformative potential for cost-effective, sustainable atmospheric missions

ASTRA (For LEO, GEO and more!)

Not a fan of VLEO? We're not sure why, it's great!

However, if you do want to go to higher orbits, we still have an option for you!

Our ASTRA auxiliary propulsion systems uses compressed gas fuel, ready to be fully integrated onto a satellite! ASTRA incorporates the same engine tech as AERIS but the additional propellant tank boost.
